Match Video: Slyphide VS mashup

I've uploaded the Slyphide VS mashup match from Mycenae's 9:00PM PDT Milestone Mettle championship finals. There's commentary in the form of subtitles.

If you don't know the outcome already, I don't plan on spoiling it for you. Let's simply say that one of the two fighters is a nationmate and it's rather painful to not see him win due to some really simple, really painful mistakes.

Even with that, there are some redeeming qualities to the video. The most interesting one is the use of a skill that you probably won't often see used effectively on Free League... or anywhere, for that matter. Enjoy the video!

Break Down actually did about as much damage as Beast Summon normally does. It wasn't a bad move to use it at all, what really killed him was the Flame Swords on Swordsmen.

What was he thinking with those flames swords on another sword , the first one could have just been because he got nervous which is understandable. but a few turns later he flames the sword over cannon , guards back and does it again . you said these were the finals? the early break downs were dumb since it seems to be such a low level , uses 3 turns and a main's flame sword does incredible damage

If you think Breakdown does damage close to Beast summon you are mistaken. The only way that can happen is if you can't afford beats summons and keep it at Level 20.

Looks to me like it might scale positively in PvP.

cannons withouth SW suck really bad ... playng a cannon build and DOTing also sucks .. if u play a canon u must keep up the preasure and atack .. that's why usually SW is needed ..and with the range of the cannon => death to the enemy...
